Review on Hero Honda GLAMOUR PGM –FI(fuel injection) :

GLAMOUR PGM –FI is also a 125 cc lauched by Hero Honda company.This motorcycle is provided with very advanced options which provides safe drive and comfort to rider.

PGM-FI system :

Motorcycle is equipped with 5 sensors that monitors engine operating conditions for instance-Air entering manifold,Engine oil temperature,Temperature of intake,position of throttle,angle of crank shaft.The data received from these sensors are then interpreted by ECU(Electronic Control Unit) which calculates ideal amount of fuel to be injected to optimize the air to fuel ratio.

RTMI( Real Time Mileage Indicator) :

It indicates average mileage last 10 secs based on the quality of fuel consumed and distance travelled .Rider can improve his riding efficiency with this system and can get maximum fuel efficiency.

Bank of angle sensor :

This motorcycle has a very unique safety device the bank angle sensor .This sensor automatically cutts off the ignition and fuel supply if bike tips over.

Malfunctioning indicator lamp :

It gives an indication to rider on functioning of sensors in PGM-FI system.In case of any malfunctioning red indicator starts blinking.

LCD fuel gauge :

The level of fuel in fuel tank is displayed on LCD which is easy to read and contemporary.

Technical specifications :

Engine of Glamour PGM-FI is air cooled 4 stroke single cylinder OHC.Air directly circulates on engine parts and cool them. The engine has a displacement of 125cc

The capacity of fuel tank is 12 litres (min) with 1.5 litre reserve. The maximum power and maximum torque 7000 rpm & torque.The ignition system used is FTI(fuel transisterised ignition) which provides better usage of fuel.

Clutch used in these motor cycles is multiplate wet (friction engagement apparatus) for automatic transmission of vehicle and gear box with 4 spped constant mesh ( for transmission of gears always turning while the engine is running

Comfort :

These motorcycles are set up with telescopic shock absorbers in front suspension and swing arm 5 step adjustable shock absorbers in rear suspension to face Indian bumpy roads. This type of shock absorbers also provides comfortable ride and gives extra protection to vehicle.

Glamour PGM-FI is available with kick start option (weight 125 kgs),and self start option (weight 129 kgs)

Available colours :

This motorcycle is available in only 2 colours Black and sporty red.
