Review and comparision of  Hero Honda CBZ extreme & Hero Honda HUNK :

CBZ extreme and HUNK are new generation bikes from Hero Honda which are unique in their style and appearance  with  aggressive visor and chrome ringed speedometer . Both of this bikes are incorporated with new generation ATFT engine .Another most important feature of these bikes is quick pick up in short time(0-60 Kmph in just 5 secs).These bikes  are  attracting Indian student community a lot due their stylish and heavy look.

Technical specifications :

Engine of  both CBZ extreme and HUNK is air cooled 4 stroke single cylinder OHC.Air directly circulates on engine parts and cool them. The engine has a displacement  of  149.2cc and incorporated with ATFT technology.

ATFT :

ATFT means Advanced Tumble Flow Induction Technology . The term tumble flow means  “swirl”.In this technology fuel air mixture from carburetor enter in to the engine cylinder with a swirling action.The advantages are one gets more efficient burning of fuel hence power & better fuel economy with lesser emission.

The capacity of fuel tank in both bikes is almost similar and equal to 12.3 litres but vary in their usable reserve(CBZ extreme 1.5litres whereas HUNK 2.2 litres).The power and maximum torque in both bikes is 8500 rpm and 6500 rpm.Ignition system used is Advanced Microprocessor  Ignition which efficiently delivers fuel.

Clutch used in these motor cycles is multiplate wet (friction engagement apparatus) for automatic transmission of vehicle and gear box with 5 speed constant mesh ( for transmission of gears always turning while the engine is running.The chassis or frame used in both bikes is tubular and diamond type.

Comfort :

 These  bikes are set up with telescopic shock absorbers in front suspension and swing arm 5 step adjustable shock absorbers in rear suspension to face Indian bumpy roads. This type of shock absorbers also provides comfortable ride and gives extra protection to vehicle.

 HUNK is incorporated with Gas Reserve Suspension which provides better comfort while riding when compared to CBZ extreme.
